A block of rooms at a special group rate in Hotel Bayerischer Hof where the Congress is taking place and some other hotels has been booked for the participants of the ECAS Congress. Reservation will be made on a 1st come 1st serve basis using the hotel reservation website connected to ECAS website www.bayerischerhof.de (see instructions). We kindly advise our participants to make reservation as soon as possible as Munich is a busy and highly appreciated destination in springtime. If needed, the secretariat of the congress will provide you with more information and help.
Reservation and conditions: Hotel reservation ahead of time is advised. The contingent of rooms will be released by most of the hotels approximately 4 - 8 weeks prior to the congress date. The participants are kindly advised to make their own hotel reservation directly with the hotels which information is provided below.
At the time of the hotel booking do not forget to indicate that you are attending the ECAS 2012 congress in Munich and that you would like to book the special rate from the contingent, which is named "ECAS". The negociated special rate is 225 euro for single use and 245 euro for double use per day. This does not include breakfast. A continental breakfast will be available on the congress site (Foyer). An American breakfast can be taken at the 6th Floor of the Hotel. The charge is 31euro per buffet-breakfast. If ou are booking through the website, in the field "web promotion" please insert "ECAS" in capital letters to get the negociated rate.
Reservations will only be guaranteed by providing a valid credit card with your hotel booking.
Important information: If you plan to arrive after 7 p.m., please inform the hotel directly at least 24 hours in advance. If you don't show up at your hotel, your reservation may be cancelled and the hotel will charge your credit card.

Getting around in Munich - Taxi / MVV: Since the Congress Venue is directly located in the center of Munich at the subway station "Marienplatz" ( U1, U2, U3, U6 ), the MVV (underground, streetcars and city busses) is a fast, convenient and cheap way to access the Bayerischer Hof from all over Munich.
Taxis are also available at any time.
